The Chicago Area Public Affairs Group (CAPAG) was founded in 1968 by a group of corporate public affairs specialists. The organization provides an informal setting to share contacts and expertise in the political arena.

CAPAG membership has grown to over 150 government and public affairs specialists from the public, private and non-profit sectors, representing many of the region’s major corporations and institutions. Members rely on CAPAG as a network for sharing issues and ideas through monthly luncheon meetings and other exclusive events.
